Our History
1970	Russ Rogers and his wife, Betty, found Fire & Security Systems, initially offering fire alarm systems.
1980	Moved into our first office building, now offering a variety of fire alarms and security systems.
1990	Expanded by moving to a larger headquarters, with a growing roster of services now including CCTV, access control, intercom and industrial process supervisory services.
2003	Renovated and expanded our building and enhanced our service to offer the very latest in security systems, including longrange RF monitoring, IP-based online monitoring, camera and video surveillance systems and more.
2005	The Russ Rogers Award for outstanding and meritorious service to the security and alarm industry established by the Illinois Electronic Security Association (IESA).
2005	John Fischer, president of FSS, honored as the first recipient of the Russ Rogers Award.
2007	Relocated in November 2007 to a new facility in Arlington Heights.
